Thank You Lord for Your Word! It is alive and active, and it causes us, Your children, to be alive and active when we hear it and read it! Amen!

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.
Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold Is a wise rebuker to an obedient ear.
Seldom set foot in your neighbor’s house, Lest he become weary of you and hate you.
Proverbs 25:2, 11, 12, 17
“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.”
Proverbs 30:5 (Sapphires by Jonathan Cahn)
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Matthew 5:44-45 (Pocket Prayers by Max Lucado)
““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
John 5:24 (Verse of the day – Bible.com & KLOVE) (All Scriptures are NKJV unless otherwise noted)
God IS good all the time. And if I don’t think He is, then what is wrong with me? He is unchanging. My circumstances may change, but not my Father in Heaven – Dad.
It has been a rough seven days with several issues bombarding me. I received a word from the Brethren that said “Breakthrough is coming!” I’ve been in the wine press, of sorts, and I am believing in that word coming to pass. Here’s a short and incomplete list of the challenges this past week:
* my wife suffered a flare-up of diverticulitis and I am unable (not allowed) to help. We’re separated.
* My funding for my transitional housing expired before my next funding activated
* Which means I am residentially challenged (homeless) until it is approved and I find a place – an apartment!
* Homelessness obviously causes other issues like difficulties with sleep, hygiene, and work.
Guess what, though. It’s not comfortable. It’s not convenient. But God’s got me in His hand. I am blessed! Prison, parole, being homeless, separated from my family, barely working – none of those things matter when it comes to my Dad giving me the best and teaching me how to accept the rest. Philippians 4:10-13. Yes, with respect to having access to all that is available to me in Him, I CAN do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. If I can’t in some area, then I must seek Him for that. I truly am blessed, even though I may experience sadness, frustration, exhaustion, etc. Psalm 121:1-2 says it well:
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Keep looking up. That’s where you help comes from He cares. He loves you. Embrace Him.
Be well and have a blessed day! You are a blessing!
Bless somebody today!
