Thank You Lord for Your Word! It is alive and active, and it causes us, Your children, to be alive and active when we hear it and read it! Amen!

Do not give your strength to women, Nor your ways to that which destroys kings.
Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.
Proverbs 31:3, 8-9, 10 & 28-29

“I know that the LORD will maintain The cause of the afflicted, And justice for the poor. Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.”
Psalms 140:12-13 (Pocket Prayers by Max Lucado)

It’s almost 7 p.m. and it’s been an awesome day. God’s provided several opportunities for me to encourage folks today, and I got a callback for a job that is a blessing just to be pre-selected for. More details another time, but the starting salary could be over $800 per week. Yeah. I did the quick math. $40k. Per year. It’s probably closer to $43,500, but anything over $24,000 is more than I’ve ever made. As the Lord wills. I’m following His lead, and it’s working quite well. Isn’t that what today’s “verse of the day” says? Interesting!
Then I signed more paperwork for my housing assistance. I’m really fond of living in the are (city) I’m in now, but it doesn’t necessarily fit the budget of affordable housing. The Lord is showing me the benefit of living elsewhere, but He hasn’t given any permanence to it yet. Testing the waters, so to speak. And long-term I’m praying about a possible move to Ft. Worth, Texas. I sense He may be opening a door for me to cone home to start again. Big step for me, because it means leaving my immediate family. All but two live nearby, even though the lines of communication aren’t open with some yet. Please pray for me. There’s a lot going on, but I am blessed!
Sorry there’s not something more, but that’s all I have today.
As I close, think about this verse from Romans: “But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.”
Eagerly wait for it. I’m doing my best. “Father, thank You for Your grace!”
Be well and have a blessed day! You are a blessing!
Bless somebody today!
